A lovingly crafted small, quiet site comprising of a collection of small camps set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With beautiful walks, adventure trails on the doorstep and cosy pubs and peaceful lakes nearby this makes Scales Plantation a haven steeped in nature whilst keeping close to the action.
ACCOMMODATION
Scales Plantation Farm have carefully created private camps in clearings amongst the trees to offer you an outdoor experience at the same time as benefiting from the warmth and comfort of wood burning stoves, hot running water, solar lighting, feather bedding and Egyptian cotton sheets.

About Scales Plantation
The concept behind Scales Plantation was born through Tab and Rob’s desire to share the sensational beauty of their home with the rest of the world.
We look after our corner of the world
Living and working on a farm highlights how much you need to look after the land. All our camps are sensitively placed on Scales Plantation Farm with compost toilets, solar power and a focus on being careful to celebrate indigenous plant-life and wildlife. You can sometimes find us sitting by the pond in the middle of the campsite watching the dragonflies.
